Meet Kathryn Therese

Hi, I’m Kathryn —a surface designer, artist, and busy boy mom, creating from the heart of our adventure-filled home. Inspired by the wild beauty of the natural world, my work is deeply connected to the moments my family and I spend simply being outdoors together. Nature’s textures, tones, and quiet magic find their way into everything I create.

Though I began my career in Creative Arts Therapy, surface design has become my true creative home—offering the flexibility to grow my work while staying connected to what inspires me most. Each of my designs begins by hand, drawn on my iPad with rustic detail and layered texture, echoing the feeling of something well-worn and well-loved.

At Kathryn Therese Design, my goal is to bring warmth, calm, and storytelling into everyday spaces—through wallpaper, textiles, and art that feels both grounded and timeless. Whether through licensed collections or creative collaborations, it’s truly an honor to see my work become part of others’ homes, stories and lives.
